Injured in a Car Accident? We can help

Immediately after an auto accident, urgent care may be needed to treat your injury. When seriously hurt, do not waste time and call 911 to get to an Emergency Room (ER). Going to an Urgent Care or your Primary Care Doctor may be other options for a one-time check up.

Acute pain symptoms often show up after several hours (and sometimes even after more than 2 days) of having been in an accident, and urgent care may be needed. Injury Care Center clinics located in Louisville, Lexington, Bowling Green and Cincinnati-Erlanger area, offer comprehensive care through the team of our doctors, chiropractors and therapy staff to provide comprehensive care after an injury.

An ER alternative

If your injury is not life-threatening, visiting an ER after your accident can be unnecessarily expensive, and after waiting for several hours, you may be seen for the one visit before being discharged to see your primary care doctor. Many primary care doctors don’t accept auto and work insurance as means for reimbursement, and most likely would refer you to a specialized clinic like ours which accepts most auto, work and health insurances. Our physicians see you immediately, conduct a complete analysis of your medical situation, and treat all of your medical complaints.

Comprehensive Treatment: Therapy & Rehab

Our MDs specialists in Orthopedics, Physical Medicine and Rehab, Emergency Medicine and Pain Medicine provide comprehensive medical treatment alongside our Chiropractors for your auto injury or work injury. Our treatment includes providing acute pain relief caused from injuries to shoulders, knees, wrist, whiplash, back and neck pain, and headaches. We develop a treatment plan and schedule that works for you.

Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Benefits

As  part of your Kentucky insurance policy, all insured drivers and their passengers have Personal Injury Protection (PIP) benefits to pay for medical treatment, in case of a motor vehicle accident. Kentucky is a n-fault state, which means that regardless of whether the injured party was at fault in the motor-vehicle collision, the PIP benefits can be availed for medical treatment.

We can also assist you with your documentation for PIP for lost wages, medical reimbursement, household duties, and travel expenses. Injury Care Centers will document your complaints, condition, and treatment history. We prepare an Injury Evaluation Report that details your injuries, the results of your diagnostic testing, and your long-term medical outlook and care, along with a prognosis of your future medical costs.
