PLANTAR FASCIITIS

Plantar fasciitis occurs when the tissues in your foot are over-stretched, causing small tears and inflammation in the tissue. You may experience a stabbing pain in your foot, which usually occurs with your first steps in the morning. Plantar fasciitis is more common in women. You’re also more likely to suffer from this condition if you’re a runner. Your risk of developing plantar fasciitis increases with age or if you’re overweight.
